Wadi Jeddah Company was organized as a Saudi Joint Stock Company fully (100%) owned by King Abdul Aziz University; having its head office within the university campus, by the Royal Decree No: (M/20) dated 15/04/1431 H, whereas such decision was coping with the qualitative lead and progressive growth the Kingdom was going through in its economy and infrastructures. The incorporation of this company was purposed to set up and stimulate all types of scientific fields towards a knowledge–based economy able to move forward and sustain the growth cycle. Wadi Jeddah Company is the link ring for the business system, creative knowledge and all components thereof, such as knowledge gardens, business hosts (incubators) , intellectual property and the hub where all concepts are formulated then turned into investment projects supporting and reinforcing sustainable and mainly knowledge-based economy.
