Hitachi Elevator Asia Pte Ltd. was established in December 1972 as an overseas service base for sales installation and maintenance of our Elevators, Escalators and Moving SideWalks in Singapore.
Riding on the growth and development of Singapore and the region, today our local R&D Team works closely with our parent company, Hitachi Ltd., Japan, to offer high quality, technologically advanced elevators, escalators and other forms of vertical and horizontal transportation in Asia. Our business has also been expanded to include retrofitting of such equipment and other solutions for urban living.
Management system, design system, process control engineering and methodologies are reviewed regularly and continually improved to cope with the global market demand for higher quality products and services.
In line with the company’s aim to continually improve its quality of products, services and also its competitive edge, Hitachi Elevator Asia Pte Ltd. established an Integrated Management System that embraces the essence of both the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
With effect from 1 Oct 2010, Hitachi Asia Ltd ("HAS") has transferred its entire elevator and escalator business and operation to Hitachi Elevator Asia Pte Ltd. This is in line with the strategic business decision by our head office, Hitachi, Ltd. in Japan, to restructure Hitachi’s elevator and escalator businesses and operations in Asia (including the Middle East but excluding Japan and China). The aim of the restructuring exercise is to provide customers services and support in the marketing, sales, design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of Hitachi's elevators and escalators from a single entity.
