Fascinated by the decor and ambiance of the theatre and of the opera, Dorothée Boissier studied at the prestigious Penninghen-Esag, school of art direction and interior architecture in Paris, where she graduated SummaCum Laude.
She then went on to work for Christian Liaigre’s renowned agency and participated in the success of the flagship brand combining furniture creation and interior design. Following this she joined Philippe Starck’s agency as team leader, before becoming a partner at Starck Network. After nine years working with the iconic designer, Dorothée Boissier created her own agency with her companion Patrick Gilles.
