Al Meraikhi group established its first foot step in the business community in 1970 by the present chairman mr. ahmad hader mohamad al meraikhi, just before the independence of the country from british reign. al meraikhi general contracting and trading company were established in order to take active part in the development of the newly born country. as the country was moving very fast for its development, the al meraikhi precast company was established to provide technically sound, best in quality and fast-production precast concrete and grc(glass reinforced concrete) products.
In 1993, to provide economical and best medical equipment & associated technical services, hospitex was established as a member of the group to reinforce group’s commitment as best corporate citizen for the country and people of the country.
