Al Jisr Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that operates independently with no political or governmental affiliations with a sole purpose to serve the underprivileged people of society, specifically those mentioned in the Qur'an Verse 60 of Surah At-Tawbah, as the foundation operates on Zakat Funds. Established in the year 2010, Muscat-Sultanate of Oman, under the Ministry of Social Development decision number 127/2010, in accordance with the provisions of the NGO Law No. 14/2000, Al Jisr Foundation is an independent institution that does not accept donations from any party. Headquartered in Muscat, Oman, the Foundation was established on 14 Dhu al-Hijjah 1431H corresponding to November 14th 2010.
