Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs (ZHO) in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, as an umbrella for all humanitarian bodies, social services, special needs institutions and any future bodies established in Abu Dhabi for humanitarian goals. Forming a new Board of Directors for Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Persons with Disabilities, chaired by H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
ZHO enjoys full financial and administrative independence and is run by its Board of Directors of 7 to 11 members. ZHO performs its activities as per the plans and directives of its Board to achieve its goals. The Board takes all necessary actions and measures to ensure ZHO’s efficient functioning. All ZHO’s humanitarian institutions are contributing to achieving the noble goals, showing a keen interest in this segment of society.
