Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. (TCDRI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of public company- Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd., which is under management by China National Materials Group Corporation Ltd. TCDRI is major engaged in cement engineering design, engineering contracting and production management services.
Since its establishment in 1953, TCDRI is one of the earliest large-scale industrial design institutes as well as technically the strongest Grade A member of China building material industry. In 2000, Chinese government has restructured of survey and design unit, TCDRI is one of the ten design institutes, which are directly managed by central enterprise working committee (by SASAC since 2003). In 2005, according to SASAC arrangement, TCDRI has restructured into China National Materials Group Corporation Ltd.
After 60 years of inheritance, innovation and pioneering, today’s TCDRI has developed into a powerful international engineering company, which is equipped with integrated industrial chain consisting of technical research and development, engineering design and consulting, complete sets of equipment supply, construction, project supervision, production management and spare parts service. It has the largest engineering construction capacity in China and one of the strongest project general contractors in worldwide cement industry.
TCDRI always put technological innovation as the key point of company development, has create a professional team with a number of experts with high technical level and high research & development level. It has many national innovation platforms, such as national level cement energy conservation & environment protection R&D centre, Tianjin enterprise technology centre and post-doctoral R&D working station, China cement development centre which is established in 1983 by the assistance of United Nations development programs is also founded in TCDRI. TCDRI has undertaken a number of major national industrial & technological development project, scientific and technological support program, has complete independent intellectual property in new dry process cement technology and equipment with 1000t/d~10000t/d capacity, several technology has reached international advanced level, promote the continuous innovation and technological progress of cement industry. TCDRI has actively engaged in research in the field of energy conservation and environment protection, make continuous new breakthrough in the field of energy conservation and emission reduction, waste treatment and aggregate production, scientific research programs always living in the international frontier, leading the development direction of cement industry technology.
Engineering design and consulting business of TCDRI has maintained in industry leading level, can provide 700t/d ~10000t/d series with different capacity, different types of new-dry cement clinker production line with high quality design and quality engineering, to meet the market development and owner requirement, has creating the highest engineering design quantities in domestic cement market, which is more than 70% of new dry process cement production capacity in domestic. TCDRI continues to promote and steadily accelerate China’s cement engineering design and consulting level, speed up cement industrial structure optimization and cement engineering technology moving towards into international level.
On the basis of “Chinese technology and Made in China “as the breakthrough point, meanwhile replying on independent core technology and key equipment export, TCDRI stimulates his export of equipment package and project contracting, entering into international cement engineering construction market by EPC and EP general contracting mode, distributes more than 80 completed and ongoing international projects for over 30 countries in Europe, America, Africa and Asia, meanwhile TCDRI has taken up over 20% market share in international cement engineering market. As the first enterprise achieving “Go- global” development strategy, TCDRI promotes the strong trend of the communication and cooperation between Chinese cement industry and foreign countries.
