SONELGAZ lives in recent years, a particularly important phase in its history. Now, the restructuring of Sonelgaz, following the advent of Law No. 01.02 of 5 February 2002 was completed with the creation of all subsidiaries.

Sonelgaz is now established as Industrial Group consists of 39 subsidiaries and 5 joint ventures. Thus, its core business subsidiaries provide production, transmission and distribution of electricity as well as transport and distribution of gas through pipelines.
