Foundation of Firm
Kienleplan was founded in 1983 by Professor Dipl.-Ing. Hans Kienle, former partner of Luz, Kienle, Wirth und Partners, as an independent practice for tasks related to landscape architecture, architecture and urban design.
In 2014 the long time project manager of the company Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Urs Müller-Meßner became partner of Kienleplan. Both executive partners are members of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects and Landscape Architects.
Scope of work
Kienleplan specializes in sustainable urban design concepts as well as, in advanced architectural and landscape design with special emphasis on highly functional, biological and aesthetical performance. Kienleplan has 30 years’ experience in planning and realizing demanding national and international projects, environmental studies, climatic and biological studies, soil and irrigation studies and rain water management studies.
Realized projects have mainly been commissioned after successful participation in national and international competitions.
Technical Equipment
Kienle Planungsgesellschaft is fully equipped with all means of computer aided design facilities in order to meet the highest standards of complex urban, architectural and environmental design projects.
Distinctions
Award of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects and Stuttgart municipality for exceptional design of the housing project Stuttgart Hoffeld in 1993.
Award of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects and Stuttgart municipality for exceptional design 2002-2007 of the project new construction of 'Landwirtschaftlichen Sozialversicherung Baden-Württemberg' together with Kubus Generalplaner GmbH and Hermann + Bosch + Keck in 2008.
