Khalid bin Ahmed Sons LLC is one of Oman’s leading road infrastructure development companies. The company was established in the year 2000. Under the able guidance and leadership of our Chairman, Mr. Khalid Ahmed Al-Shanfari and the knowledge and industrious tutelage of Managing Director, Mr. N. Surendra Kumar supported by dedicated teamwork, the company grew to the stature of an excellent grade construction company within a span of 3 years.
Today K.A.S is a major player within the construction industry in Oman particularly in the field of road development. Through the years, the company has executed and completed several major projects in Oman to the satisfaction of all associated stakeholders. Starting with just a handful of machinery and manpower the company’s inventory today has a strong fleet of machinery and transport vehicles numbering over 600 units. There has also been an exponential increase in the number of employees. As of 31st of December, 2013 the head count is about 2300. Our major clients in Oman include the Ministry of Transport and Communication in Oman, the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources, Muscat Municipality as well as numerous other private clients.
