Indian High School, Dubai comes with a history of over 53 years, since its inception in 1961. Indian high School, or IHS as we call it, is the oldest, largest and the leading educational institution in the Gulf Region. IHS is permanently affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi and has been accredited ‘outstanding’ by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority, Government of Dubai. Indian High School is also the first school in the region to receive ISO 9001-2008. IHS is also known to be the only school, to have won twice, winner of the Sheikh Hamdan Award for Distinguished School and School Administration (2002, 2005).
