Gulf General Lift Systems W.L.L (GGLS) started in 1987 as a maintenance & service provider to the Vertical Transport (VT) Market, as demand called for alternatives to the local lift Suppliers monopoly. In 1990, GGLS involved in the Building Maintenance Units (BMU) / Window Cleaning Systems (WCS) market and introduced a new phase of business in Bahrain.
1997 witnessed the emergence of GGLS as a leading supplier & service provider for FUJI lifts and was awarded “Golden Sands” contract to supply 14 No. of Elevators. Soon after, FUJITEC & GGLS had conjoined to win the CITIBANK Mena Head Quarter and Ritz Carlton Royal Spa.
GGLS continued its market share development in the VT and BMU / WCS segments, improving & capitalizing on its success. Today Gulf General Lift Systems W.L.L is in the forefront of the Bahrain Suppliers and service providers’ market for Elevators, Escalators, Auto walks and Window Cleaning Systems design, supply, installation and services.
