U-Stucco™ is a USA registered trade mark company, providing green-building construction materials worldwide. U-Stucco's plastering products are made-up of 99% inorganic and 40% recycled content for interior and exterior uses. Our products are the true definition of Green.
U-Stucco™ is the worlds' only multi-purpose single coat insulation plaster, which simply replaces the conventional 3-Coat Plaster system (Plaster/ Primer/ Putty). U-Stucco has 20+ features and benefits:
STRUCTURAL:
• U-Stucco™ is ultra-light 350-450 kg/m3, which is about 7x lighter than conventional plastering products. This reduces the dead load on your building, which results in slower structural deterioration as well as longer life-span for your finishes.
• U-Stucco™ is mold / mildew resistant (Fungus Proof) ASTM ZG21-13. This drastically increases the life-span of your wall finishing's especially in humid climates, where mold growth is common.
• U-Stucco™ can be used to provide smooth, textured and sand surface finishes.
• U-Stucco™ is high crack, corrosion and discoloration resistant ASTM B117
ACOUSTIC INSULATION:
• U-Stucco™ can provide up to 32 dB of acoustic insulation. This can provide significant reduction in the amount of sound transferred from adjacent rooms resulting in an increase in comfort levels.
FIRE PROTECTION & THERMAL INSULATION:
• U-Stucco™ is non-combustible (Class A1) as per ASTM E136 and EN 13501-1:2007. Therefore, U-stucco can be used as a layer of fire protection. For example, fire zones (i.e Corewalls, Mechanical/ Electrical rooms, Fuel rooms etc.), Structural Steel Projects,ICF Walls and which are to be designed for several fire ratings, to be safe by U-stucco
• U-Stucco™ has 10x lower thermal conductivity (0.07-0.09 W/mK) when compared to conventional plastering products; as per ASTM C518-10. This property significantly decreases the amount of heat energy that gets transmitted to the occupied spaces, which in turn results in decreased HVAC loads.
WATER PROTECTION:
• U-Stucco™ is water proof but vapor permeable to let your walls breath as per ASTM E96/E96M -10. This is a very important property, which makes U-Stucco suitable for exterior use (exposed to rain and moisture) as a waterproofing layer.
• In addition, U-Stucco can be combined with EPS, XPS and Rock Wool as thermal solution for required U Values.
• APPLICATION:
o U-Stucco™ is a one coat (up to 25mm thickness) single day application. U-Stucco is replacement to conventional plaster, primer and putty coats all in one. The single coat application results in 66% savings in time and labor.
o U-Stucco™ can be directly applied on to concrete blocks, ICF, AAC, gypsum board, wood, tiles and other rough or smooth surfaces.
o U-Stucco™ can be colored prior to application for exterior walls and service rooms to negate painting in those areas, by adding color pigments in the mixing stage.
ENVIRONMENT:
o U-Stucco™ is VOC free, 99% inorganic and is made from 40% recyclable content making it a truly green product.
o U-Stucco™ is registered with the US Green Building Council (USGBC) making it LEED friendly.
