Thomas Bell-Wright International Consultants is a privately held engineering firm providing independent quality assurance and testing services for the exterior wall systems of large buildings, and testing of fire containment systems and materials in buildings.
Its large testing laboratory holds accreditation by UKAS and ENAS to ISO 17025 for a number of curtain wall and fire tests. The company operated from a single location in Dubai's Ras AI Khor area which is now shifted to Jebel Ali Industrial Area 1.
Started in 1995 by Tom Bell-Wright to provide specialist third-party consulting to architects and developers for their curtain wall projects, the business has grown to be the major company in the region providing both consulting and full-scale testing for curtain walls, and most recently the only facility capable of testing fire rated doors, walls, partitions and materials.
Between the different departments, Facade Consulting, Curtain Wall Testing, Special Inspections, Fire Testing, Administration, and Management, it has a close team of over 40 people.
