AFICO is a joint venture between the Zamil Industrial Investment Company (ZI) along with Gulf Insulation Group (GIG) owns 51% of the company shares and Owens Corning Corporation of USA owns 49%. AFICO manufactures premium quality products comparable to those sold in the United States and Europe, under license in utilizing the know-how and technical specifications of Owens Corning.
