DESCRIPTION, MISSION AND VALUATION
Al Khaleej Bitumen Co LLC (hereafter also known as “KBCO”) originally established in November 1986 in Abu Dhabi, as a subsidiary of Union International Group, was taken over, by the new management having vast experience in oil related business, in 2013.
Al Khaleej Bitumen is registered as a Limited Liability Company with Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (Zonescorp) as an Industrial Unit in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Company is legally constituted with Mr.Abdul Lateef Mohamed Ahmed Al Obeidli, United Arab Emirates National and Miss.Nahed Abdul Lateef Mohamed Ahmed Al Obeidli, also United Arab Emirates National as partners, sharing profits and losses in the ratio of 51% and 49% respectively.
KBCO has been registered under ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management Systems since 2014.

HUMAN RESOURCES
Presently KBCO employs a workforce of around 30 employees varying in degrees and professionalism; among them are Senior Managers, Specialized Technicians, Lab Technicians, Supervisors, H D Drivers, Mechanics and experienced skilled and non – skilled labourers. All of them are sincere, hardworking and fully devoted to their respective areas of work to meet the challenges raised by the uncertain economic climate.
MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT AND OTHERS
KBCO already owns a Ship Jetty, Tanker Ships, Tank facility of 8000 Tonnes for storing finished products as well as raw materials, Plant and Equipment, a testing Laboratory with state of art facilities, Office and Factory Buildings, a vast area of leasehold land, a Weigh Bridge and a fleet of eleven Bitumen Heavy Tanker Trucks.
To keep pace with the rapidly developing business, the Management of KBCO has invested a substantial fund towards the acquisition of modern sophisticated Machinery and Plant, a fleet of new Bitumen Tanker Trucks and Truck Parking areas. The total investment including the value of those taken over works out to Dh.35 Million.
We are having our own Shipping Company employing well trained and experienced personnel to carry out shipping operations.
OUR PRODUCTS
KBCO produces and sells wide range of bituminous products such as Oxidized, Hard Grade, Cutback, Emulsion, Polymer Modified, Water Proofing etc.
MARKETING, SALES AND DISTRIBUTION
The development of economy anywhere in the world needs sophisticated infrastructure that includes roads, airport runways and parking lots which itself will speak the value of bitumen.
A report on the market share based on a survey conducted by a Group of Professional Marketing Experts reveals that KBCO has 45% in Abu Dhabi, 35% IN Al Ain and 10% in Northern Emirates.
Al Khaleej Bitumen Co LLC has dealings with 20 to 23 leading contractors and industries in UAE.

LLC has grown to build a strong reputation and become a distinguished leader in the bitumen trade. From its outset, The Company has set for itself a high standard of performance as its prime objective towards becoming a leading manufacturer and supplier of bitumen of various specifications.
ECONOMIC OUTLOOK
KBCO maintain sound financial controls and has been profitable consistently as well as substantially. KBCO doesn’t seek financial assistance from any Bank or Financial Institution.
FUTURE VISION
With the existing machinery and equipment, experienced human resources, abundant financial capacity and vast expertise; the Management is very much optimistic that KBCO will leap into sky with flying colors in the near future.
