Al Hilal Industrial Company is one of the mixed sector companies under supervision of the Ministry of Industry; it was established in 1962 and started with registered capital of ID 80,000.
The main products were the evaporative air-coolers with capacity of 50 units per day. Other product was arc welding electrodes with capacity of 2 tons per day. HIC proceeded and continued developing the manufacturing works and facilities for better qualities and varieties of products which is covering the requirements of all Iraq. Through the years up to 2002, the company’s capital was increased to be ID 1,500,000,000.
