The project scope of work consists of a rapid transit system located at Al Hamra, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Riyadh metro with six rail lines will be 178 kilometers long and consist of 85 stations, including underground, elevated and at-grade sections. The network will be delivered in phases and connected to King Khalid International Airport and King Abdullah Financial District, main universities, downtown and the public transport center. Phase 1 will include the establishment of lines 1, 2 & 3 and phase 2 will include lines 4, 5 & 6.
The six metro lines are as follows:
Line 1 (Blue Line): The 38 kilometers long line connecting Olaya Street to Al Hayer Road.
Line 2 (Red Line): The 25.3 kilometers long line connecting King Abdullah Road to the King Fahad Stadium.
Line 3 (Orange Line): The 40.7 kilometers long line connecting Madina Al Munawar to Rahman Al Awal Road.
Line 4 (Yellow Line): The 29.6 kilometers long line connecting the King Khaled International Airport to the new King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).
Line 5 (Green Line): The 12.9 kilometers long line connecting King Abdul Aziz Road.
Line 6 (Violet Line): The 30 kilometers long line connecting Abdul Rahman bin Ouf Street to the Shaikh Hassan bin Hussain bin Ali Street.
