Sound attenuators are used to absorb the noise generated by fans (FCU, AHU, FAHU , Axial fans), generators. Sound attenuators are made of GI sheet (20 gauge casing, 24 gauge splitter, 24 gauge perforated sheet for splitter cover) and acoustic rockwool or fiber glass insulation. For clean room application the acoustic media is covered with vermin proof polythene.
