ProTenders works with Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud)

ProTenders is a construction tendering platform for developers and owners. Keep Autodesk Forma for documents, models and project management; run the construction tender in ProTenders, then send the award back.

What Autodesk Forma does best

  • One shared place for project documents and models: Forma Data Management, formerly Autodesk Docs.
  • Field and office project management in Forma Build: RFIs, submittals and daily reports.
  • Preconstruction: takeoff, estimating and bid management with BuildingConnected.

Where ProTenders fits

Autodesk Forma has bid management of its own, with BuildingConnected. ProTenders prices the BoQ line by line, with one clarification log and committee scoring.

  • Bidders price your BoQ line by line, and you compare the bids line by line.
  • Clarifications in one log that every bidder sees.
  • Technical and commercial envelopes, scored by your committee (from Pro).
  • Bid prices encrypted with a key unique to each tender.
  • Unlimited users on every plan.
  • 50,000+ construction companies in the directory.

What moves between them

What an integration can carry between the two.

Into ProTenders

  • Project data and design models, through Autodesk Platform Services.

Back to Autodesk Forma

  • The award and its value, back to Autodesk Forma.

How it connects

ProTenders has a REST API (/v3) that reads tenders, bids, awards and evaluations (Pro), and webhooks that tell your systems when they change (Enterprise). BoQs and evaluation matrices come in from Excel; comparisons and registers go out to it.

Your team calls the ProTenders API and the platform's own, directly or through the integration software you already run.

Autodesk Forma's data is reached through Autodesk Platform Services: public REST APIs with OAuth.
