Founded in 1971, the SGTM quickly established its leadership and illustrated the diversity of its know-how through major projects perfectly controlled, such as the elevation of the Safi Canal or the Lalla Takerkoust dam, or the realization of the wholesale market of Rabat. The company has imposed evidence of Moroccan skills and this for a long time. During the 80s, SGTM was entrusted with the most prestigious achievements that marked the anchoring of Morocco in modernity: luxury hotels in Agadir, Marrakech and Casablanca, Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, the construction of several headquarters, high-rise buildings, industrial sites, notably for the OCP, but also several lots of civil engineering for the Hassan II Grand Mosque and delicate urban developments in the city of Casablanca.The 1990s will confirm and amplify this dynamic of success. New headquarters, such as the General Directorate of the Administration of Customs and Indirect Taxes and exceptional buildings such as the Technopark or the towers of the Twin Center reinforcing the prestigious image of the achievements of SGTM.
Large public facilities are entrusted to him, such as Al Akhawayne University in Ifrane or the large hydraulic complex of Ait Messaoud . SGTM embarked on the second decade of the 21st century with QSE as the ultimate goal. It intends to continue its momentum through its involvement in such strategic projects as the construction of the LGV, the new OCP industrial scheme and the development of port and airport infrastructures.
