The Saudi Aviation Club was established by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 217 dated 8/12 / 1421H (corresponding to 4/12/2000) as an independent non-profit organization to promote the aviation culture and its sciences and to encourage public participation in matters related to aviation.
The Saudi Aviation Club is located at Thamama Airport, 60 km north of Riyadh.
The Saudi Aviation Club oversees the following activities: Paragliding, motor-sailing, controlled aircraft and parasol.
The membership card of the Saudi Aviation Club (SAC) enables its holders to exercise their hobbies in the designated areas of their activities. The membership card allows the club to participate in local and international competitions.
