Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is a diversified and integrated group of energy companies. ADNOC’s activities include exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas; refining, marketing, supply and transportation, and the manufacture and distribution of petrochemicals.The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company or ADNOC is the state-owned oil company of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is considered to be the world's fourth largest oil company with access to country's oil and gas reserves, (137 billion barrels (21.8×109 m3) of oil as of June 2007). Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) was established in 1971 with the aim to operate in all areas of the oil and gas industry and since then ADNOC has steadily broadened its activity by establishing companies and subsidiaries and creating an integrated oil and gas industry in Abu Dhabi. Today, the company manages and oversees oil production of more than 2.7 million barrels a day which ranks it among the top ten oil and gas companies in the world.
