The project's scope of work consist of a new city located at Al-Ahmadi governorate 65 kilometers south of Kuwait City. The area is approximately 35,000,000 square meters. The city is expected to inhibit not less than 9,000 housing units to the Kuwaitis who are entitled to the housing welfare in addition to the required daily living activities. The city will include activities for investors such as apartments, commercial, health, sports, tourism, educational, stores, handicraftsman, and technology village in addition to the commercial malls and hotels.
The Sabah Al-Ahmad Future City is expected to have a population of 110,000 people once completed. It will include high-rise towers for staff housing, 150 different types of villas, 52 schools, 70 mosques, 15 hospitals and clinics, 6 police stations, a football stadium, and an extensive road and sewerage network. The project will also include a shopping centre, cinema halls, internal and external entertainment centres, hotels, resorts, halls, governmental buildings, schools, universities, sporting and golf club, gardens, mosques, cooperative societies, banks branches, a technological village, car parks, fuel stations, trade and service area as well as warehouses and stores.
Phase One: Data collection which includes the city studies and coordination and revision with the related governmental authorities.
Phase Two: Preliminary design for the Master Plan, Financial Studies, and Legal Studies.
Phase Three: Prepare the detailed drawings which include the Masterplan and preliminary infrastructure drawings.
Phase Four: Traffic Studies
Phase Five: Tender Documents and Project Tendering for Construction.
