The Department of Planning and Development – Trakhees, was established in 2008 as regulatory Arm of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation in Dubai to undertake responsibility of engineering supervision, issuance of building permits, issuance commercial licensing, and supervision of all health, safety & environment matters within the Special Development Zone in Dubai. The Department has been established for sustainable expansion and growth in investments, both in the special development zones or free zones under PCFC-Trakhees jurisdiction, the same required the presence of unified organizational entity in order to achieve the best quality of the provided services & the integrity and comprehensiveness of the procedures to reach the highest level of customer satisfaction of the major and sub developers, investors and owners of the concession contracts.
