The practice was established in 2005 by Stuart Forbes after a 15-year career at Richard Rogers Partnership (now Rogers, Stirk, Harbour and Partners). The formative years of Stuart's career at RRP, working on a wide variety of projects from bespoke 'one off' houses, to buildings of international standing, established a strong emphasis on the inventive use of building materials, creation of light and space and the relationship between a building and its surroundings. This strength of site analysis and approach to building form is reflected in the architecture of Stuart Forbes Associates today.
Stuart Forbes Associates has grown into a skilful and dynamic practice and has further consolidated the already strong foundations of Stuart's own background into a thriving practice which prides itself on the delivery of high-quality architecture.
