The establishing of the Saudi Heritage Hospitality Company came as an initiative led by the Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage (SCTNH) and as part of the initiatives of HRH Prince Sultan bin Salman to maintain national heritage through utilizing of some heritage sites and buildings across the kingdom. After refurbishment works, those sites and buildings will be used as touristic hotels that specialized in heritage hospitality equipped with all state-of-the-art facilities and services. This would also open several job vacancies and maintain sustainability for the unique hospitality industry in Saudi Arabia.
This initiative came as double-edged target, an edge of maintain chosen sites with its original criteria to act as a living icon of Saudi ancient civilization, and an edge of getting the best and prominent usage of such national, priceless fortunes.
