Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd ("PPC") essentially as a construction company in Malaysia under the name of "Kamunting Construction Sdn Bhd". It was the forerunner of Putrajaya Perdana Berhad ("PPB") which was listed in October 2007 on the first Board of the Malaysian Stock Exchange (i.e. Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad)
PPB was incorporated in 1998 to embrace PPC and Putra Perdana Development Sdn Bhd ("PPD", formerly known as Taman Melaka Raya Development Sdn Bhd) as its two fully owned subsidiaries to participate in the development of Putrajaya City, the prestigious Federal Administration Capital of Malaysia.
PPC as a member of the PPB construction cum development group, is recognised for its ability to deliver " Design and Build" projects on a fast-track manner. Such projects include large-scale office, residential & commercial buildings. To date, we have a proven track record of having successfully constructed and completed more than 10 million square feet of intelligent office buildings and have timely handed over projects worth in excess of AED6.6 billion equivalent.
Although Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd-Abu Dhabi Branch has yet to undertake any project in the UAE or Middle East, we are no greenhorn in overseas projects. Back in early 1990, we (through our parent company Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd ("PPC"), then known as Kamunting Construction Sdn Bhd) had ventured overseas to China and assisted our associate companies to manage projects.
Owing to the shareholders from Abu Dhabi in PPC's holding company i.e. Putrajaya Perdana Berhad, we will have the full local support in UAE extended by one of our associates, Silver Coast Construction & Boring.
