Damietta Spinning and Weaving, is one of a spinning giant textile company founded in 1959 AD, three factories specializing in cotton yarn and textile manufacturing, embroideries and quilts, with a capital at the foundation of about 50 million pounds, employs about 2512 workers and employees.
The company was characterized by the quality of its production than its people to export their products to several Arab and African countries and some European countries for many years, the company was working around the clock on three shifts, and because the company had owned a large fleet of buses transport mission transporting workers to and from the company, which encouraged many workers to join the company.
