Amager Ressourcecenter is jointly owned by five Copenhagen-area municipalities, namely Dragør, Frederiksberg, Hvidovre, Copenhagen and Tårnby.
ARCs vision is to contribute to a better environment and climate for future generations. We manage the waste of resources, so that we provide materials, electricity and district heat back to the citizens and the city. We are pleased our location around the city, and we strive to be an attractive neighbor who listens and involves neighbors and the community.
Our company has two legs: Energy and Resources. We see no contradiction between working for the recycling of waste resources and energy recovery of waste. We must use the waste where it makes most sense in an environmental and economic perspective.
